Video and Audio Requirements

Better audio and video means a better class experience. Here are the requirements for Vohra Method group classes.

Camera Angle Requirements

In a Vohra Method class, your head and shoulders must be visible, and your eyes must be ⅔ of the way up the screen or higher. You must be facing the camera. Your lighting must be clear.

Background Requirements

Zoom allows background replacement. At Vohra Method, you must use this background:

  2. A high res version of the image will appear. Right click on it, and then save the image.

Having the same background across the virtual room creates a cohesive and focused environment. It feels more like we’re in the same room, unlike the chaotic hodgepodge that has become an unfortunate norm in online classes.

Audio Equipment

You must have either:

1.. A headset with a boom mic (such as a gaming headset),

OR

2. A professional desktop microphone.

Equipment Recommendations

Headsets (Simplest Option):

Best of the Best: Sennheiser Game One.

Also great: Hyper X Cloud Stinger

Does Not Work: Apple Airpods. You will need headphones with a boom mic. During class, your voice and audio must be mellifluous.

Desktop microphones (The Advanced Option):

The easiest solution is to get a headset. If you prefer a desktop mic, here’s the one Arvin and Chelsey both use: Audio-Technica AT2005USB

At Vohra Method, we create the best education because we demand the best from our students. Cohesive, clear visuals and mellifluous audio help make sure you get the best education on earth.
