Step One: Category

When you're ready to book a class, follow this link to our Simplybook website! There, you should see the following:


Once you click Book Now, you will be asked to select the skill you'll be working on in class. Most people pick Core Skills. That covers all of SAT, ACT, PSAT, and Middle school math and below. It does not include the SAT Essay, so be sure to scroll down if you're looking for that!


We have a lot of course offerings, so feel free to browse and ask us questions.

Under Core Skills and Math 2, you can see a box with arrows. That let's you know that there is some additional information about that option that you can read over if you'd like.

Once you have decided on a particular skill, just click Select.

Step Two: Service

In this step, you pick how long you'd like to come to class. Most students do 2 hours, 1 hour, or 1.5 hours, but we also offer a 10 minute option so you can customize your class to different time lengths if you'd like.


On this page, you also have another option. If you have more than one child attending Vohra, we suggest that you create one account for all children, and make the account name contain all children's first names, and then the last name. For example, you could have an account named "Jane and Joe Smith", or "Jane, Joe, and Jack Smith". This makes it easier for you to book. You won't have to switch accounts to book for different students.


If you do that, and more than one student is coming in for the same Skill, then you can use the circled option to increase the number of students while you're booking. If each student is coming in for a different skill, then you'll have an option later to add more courses to your "cart" before checking out.


Also on this page, you'll see some red class options with stars.

Step Three: Time

This next step is where you pick the date and time of your class. This step is very important. We don't offer all skills on all days, and we don't offer all locations at all time slots. So, this step will tell you exactly what is available on a given day. If you select the wrong day, and you think that Chemistry is available, you might show up to find out that it's not available, and you've rushed home for nothing. Selecting the correct day and time is the only way to be certain that you are planning for the correct class that you want to attend.


Our Class Times

One further, important thing to verify is your time zone. Verifying this will ensure that we are there for class at the times you are expecting.

We run our classes at pretty consistent times, with a little variation for holidays. Here's our general schedule:

During the summer:
Monday-Thursday: 11-1pm and 1:30-3:30pm and 6-8pm ET
Friday: 5:30-7:30pm ET
Saturday: 11-1pm and 1:30-3:30pm and 4-6pm ET
Sunday: 11-1pm and 1:30-3:30pm ET

During the school year:
Monday-Thursday: 6-8pm ET
Friday: 5:30-7:30pm ET
Saturday: 11-1pm and 1:30-3:30pm and 4-6pm ET
Sunday: 11-1pm and 1:30-3:30pm ET

When You're Booking

We list our class times in Eastern Time, because we're based out of DC. But, we set our Simplybook system to automatically adjust to your time zone for you! Unfortunately, there can be times when the system gets your time zone wrong. The best way to ensure you're booking class at the expected time, is to double check your time zone while you're booking. You can find that information in the circled area above.

This will tell you our time, and whatever Simplybook thinks your time is. Our time will always be in Eastern Time, so that's a good reference. If your time is listed incorrectly, you can fix this by clicking on the small clock on the right there. When you do, you'll see the following.


Once you have set your correct time zone, you can book without worry.

And of course, if you're ever uncertain, just reference our schedule. If Simplybook seems to be telling you that you are booking a class at 10am Eastern Time, then something went awry in the process, as we don't have class at that time on any day of the week.

The same goes for a class that seems to run across our break from 1pm-1:20pm ET every weekday and weekend day. We don't have class during that time, so the system must be mixing up time zones in that case.

Usually, this won't be an issue. But, it does help alleviate any situations where you plan for a class at 10am ET, and we aren't around.

Step Four: Client Details

For this step, you'll see a big summary of information. You should look out for a couple of things:

  1. Definitely double check your time zone, circled in light blue above.

  2. If you want to come in to class without video, you can select that option now. It costs extra, but it is an option. That's circled in lime green above. For more information on our video policy, click here.

  3. If you have a promotion code, you can enter it now. That goes inside the light orange circle.

  4. And then, be sure to click the checkbox at the bottom to agree to Simplybook's terms.

Now, you're ready to checkout! If you're using a membership, then you'll just click Book Now and your booking will be complete. If you're paying via PayPal, clicking Book Now will take you to the payment page for that. Just be sure to confirm your payment in PayPal so that it gets back to Simplybook.
